gennady golovkin is being ducked by two of the most high profile fighters in boxing - cotto and canelo. i don't think floyd is ducking golovkin. he has every right not to fight a middleweight. canelo and cotto campaign at MW. i understand that canelo's people don't want to put a young guy who can be on PPV for years in there with a big puncher.

cotto's the most blatant ducker in the sport right now. golovkin is the biggest draw in the division not named cotto or canelo. he's selling tickets well in new york by the look of things, and he always does well on HBO. he's just amde it to HBO ppv. if he does decent on PPV, the winner of the cotto - canelo fight should ideally fight golovkin. maybe you let them take a stay busy fight, but the idea that the golovkin fight has to be built will be out the window if he does well [2-300K buys] on PPV.

golovkin was ducked by martinez. he was ducked by froch. he's ducked by quillin, jacobs.

andre ward won't fight him at 164. i don't hthink he'd go to 164 for anybody not named floyd mayweather [i don't think he'd be healthy / strong at the weight,] but that's not in disagreement with the fact that ward won't go to 164 to fight golovkin.

golovkin doesn't just beat guys. he beats them up. there's a big, big difference. taking a beating and taking a loss are two different things. a bad beating can end a career. a bad beating can f#king kill a guy.

sergey kovalev, for instance, killed a young fighter named roman simakov. his brain bled and he died.

Errol Spence, although I don't think he has really called anyone out, is going to be avoided hard by these top guys at welter right now.

Golovkin is one of the biggest paydays at middleweight so in a way he is not avoided so much as he is forced to pay more money to guys who know they have little chance at beating him. But yea Golovkin is generally being avoided by most everybody from 154-160

Of the poll choices, Golovkin. Fury and Maidana should be on this poll though, and in the lead.

Rigondeaux by far. Not even close. Since when do mandatory challengers duck the champion?

And recently, avoided by Cotto, Mayweather and Ward (fight offered at 164).
how can you say floyd is avoiding giggi when giggi is too big for him, just like ward is too big for giggi

Do you understand what a multiple choice poll is, my simple-minded fellow?

                  Wilder is ducking Povetkin.
                  Khan is ducking Brook.
5 boxers at 175 have turned down a final eliminator against Beterbiev.
Your question in the thread title is "Who is the most avoided boxer right now?". I'm simple minded because you ****ed up and can't ask a simple question correctly?

Rigo hands down. Too much risk for so little reward. Even if anybody can beat him it sure won't be pretty and it will be boring

Don't know where ppl are getting here that triple G is avoided. There has been no serious negotiations with him agains nobody.

And you can't say Quillin because he is avoiding the whole division
