If Rios-Provodnikov happens it will be because HBO pushed for it, not because Top Rank did.

As another poster mentioned, Arum is salty as hell that HBO is trying to play matchmaker with his fighters. But if he wants their money then he'll very likely have to play ball.

Rios been pricing himself out dude ain't even worth 500K
I am not sure this is true, I had heard that Bradley priced himself out and wasn't it a rematch clause that killed the Brook fight? Rios vs. Provo is the best fight of the 3 IMO anyway, so if it gets made because the other 2 failed fine by me.

One of the upsides of the PBC is in the short term at least, it forces HBO to up their game. They had a pretty good first half this year.

But while we are talking about HBO, why the hell is there all this talk of a budget problem with HBO? They got their chunk of the May-Pac pie, and their ratings are higher than they have been in years. The GGG fight and the Canelo fight are PPV, so that's not out of their budget. Did they spend like 4/5 of their yearly budget in the first half or something?

That's the beauty of having checks and balances. Agree? Haymon makes mismatches and Showtime approves.

Sounds like HBOs pushing for this matchup, thats a good sign. By the sound of it, or lack thereof, I dont think theyre interested in Bradley vs. Rios. Which alot of fans arent, thats just Bob trying to force his played-out product down everybodies throats. This is a good stance by HBO and hopefully it forces Bob to put his guys against fighters we actually want to see. BrookBradley, RiosProvo are great fights for different reasons, one fight is a unification, RiosProvo is a great stylistic matchup. Regardless of both fighters current standing, this fight would be fire. Honestly, Rios doesnt deserve another title shot. HBOs willing to pay for it, the problem is gonna be Bob, thats why yall shouldnt get ur hopes up. If it doesnt happen itll be bcuz Bob doesnt want to make it happen. Glad HBO told him.to take that ish elsewhere.

Rios/Ruslan, winner faces Bradley. Hopefully that's the way it'll play out.
