but tbh i'm not entirely sold on kudryashov in general. he looked pretty limited in his last fight, and cruiserweight is a very competitive division. his power could potentially bail him out of any trouble though

Yeah he didn't show much in his last fight though it's hard to tell if he was just getting some rounds in because he knew he could end the guy at any moment or if the guy's movement was actually causing problems for him. We shall see. Power like that makes any fight 50/50 even if he's outskilled.

Huck losing that belt was one of the best things that has ever happened to that division. The belt will no longer be held hostage and used to face a barrage of undeserving apples, peaches and plums.

Usyk should be getting that shot first as he is the number 1 in the WBO if i'm not mistaken, but he probably still needs a couple fights to get himself fully prepared, so I guess Kudryashov can step ahead and then warm the belt for Usyk to snatch soon.
