Broner-Allakhverdiev is for the vacant WBA (Regular) 140 belt. Even though its the "regular" belt they're going to become the official WBA champion because Garcia is leaving 140 but hasn't officially dropped the WBA belt yet.

Although I think some media scored Khabib Allakhverdiev's last fight as a win over Vargas. I can't remember the fight or if I watched it but that's what happens when you're Jessie Vargas.

Oh ok, right on man i misinterupted you. Broner is a haymon fighter and him getting another title shot is no surprise to me although i dont think he's deserving, he is a big name so i can't really say anything about it. It's just politics of the sport.

Vargas on the other hand, i just watched that fight the other day with khabib and i thought Vargas won a close decision but he does bring alot of controvercy when he fights.. he just doesnt get the credit he deserves like other boxers because his style is not pleasing to other fans... me personally, i like Vargas and what he brings to the table, but thats just me..

So yeah i agree 2 fighters coming off losses fighting for a world title, is not acceptable but hey, i've seen worse crap in the sport of boxing then this..

To be honest I think this is probably the most 50/50 match-up (on paper) Broner will have so far in his career so I'm not too upset with it.

I know who he is and he is a literally a cherry his last relevant fight was 7 years ago which he lost.it doesn't matter officially khabib lost plus he's been inactive and should not be fighting for a title.he went life and death with vargas who isn't that good .they could have gotten a better opponent for boner.
