No you are acting like Williamson was fighting like Hakkar. Of course everyone has their right of an opinion and rightfully so. Not everyone scores and looks for the same thing. To me he kept a distance (which was smart considering he has a glass chin) and popped shots at Wladimir....One thing to point out is that Wladimir was basically doing the same exact thing. Neither fighter was impressive in that fight.

This doesn't make sense. You are willing to concede that "Not everyone scores and looks for the same thing" but not that "Not everyone fights the same way". Comparing one fighters results over a common opponent with another fighters results is about as inaccurate you can be in evaluation a fighter.

For example, Wlad beat Shufford - Shufford beat Brewster - Brewster beat Wlad... . . using this method of analysis who's better? It doesn't work or you'll have to concede that they are all equal

I to me I had it about even it was closer than most though and Wladimir wasnt really dominating throughout the whole performance or even when it was stopped. It was just an ugly fight but Davarryl was stopped in 1 by Mesi but couldnt be by Wlad...

That says something to the people claim he is the hardest hitter in the division.

oh please. you have to look at how the fight was fought and styles. williamson came straight at mesi with his chin in the air exposed and was a knockout waiting to happen. he ran for the most part from wlad tring to take it to the later rounds,,,waiting for wlad to tire. you dont knock guys out quickly that are fighting defensive fights

If he wanted to instead of being chin checked himself all he had to do was use his size advantage and bully him around the ring. You people act like Wlad wasnt able to do that. wlad looked awful that fight,,,,no doubt about it. my only argument is that you seemed to be hinting at a lack of power from wlad based on the fact he didnt knock williamson out like mesi did. reason being williamson didnt come straight in like he did against mesi and yes wlad was gunshy which didnt help things. on the other hand wlad has clobbered difficult guys to knock out like shufford,,monte barret,,mercer and shulz,,,3 of which went the distance with peter..brewster and rahman. thats pretty impressive
