Foot placement, what boxers seem to have the best foot placement?

Name the boxers who are always in position to punch(no lunging) and always in position to evade shots and or take the stank off of them

      Rigondeaux comes to mind.

He's always positioned to throw. Whether he is on the back foot or moving forward, he's always in perfect position.

James Toney used to be a master of it also, Mayweather similarly.

Great name actually, he does have great footwork. Roman gets my vote too.

If we are talking all time then Joe Louis

Front foot or back, if you made a mistake he was nearly always in position to land a KO shot

Mayweather, Rigondeaux and Ward are the first that come to mind out of the current breed.

My vote goes to Roman Gonzalez as well. No matter what he does or how his opponent moves around the ring, his foot placement always has him in position to unload combinations.
