Has chris algeiri improved?

Berto has accomplished more than Algieiri, defeated better fighters than Algieiri has, and has been a real WW far longer than Algieiri.

I get not liking Floyd but to elevate Algieiri over Berto just because you hate Floyd is truly sad.

but berto's recent form is far from his previous fights, i'm not elevating algieri, he is not great but neither a bum. I, particularly, didn't want him fighting manny, i don't think he belongs in there with him (in fact when i heard he was provo's opponent was kinda pissed too) berto doesn't belong in a ring with floyd.

Agree, Berto/floyd is an absolute joke because Floyd is way better than Berto.

Manny/Algieiri was an absolute joke because algieiri had never fought at ww and was a kickboxer. You had Manny fans actually arguing it was "a difficult style matchup".

Either way Andre Berto is a better WW competitor than Algieir, has a better career and resume than Algieri, and even though he is washed up shot to hell and on the downside of his career he is still ahead of Algieiri at his apex.

Algieri has a very good skillset! His downfall is the lack of power yet, he will fight anybody and its not taking the easy road of fighting "soft touch" fighters. He will make a lot of top fighters look bad any given night. I liked his new agressiveness while being defensively responsible(you WILL get hit eventually)against Kahn so I will call that an improvement. He is a solid B fighter with room for improvement.
