    Just like Khan!

Difference being Berto actually made fights to try and land Mayweather while Khan yapped his mouth and never put in the effort.

On September 12th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Berto will challenge WBC/WBA welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. in the headline fight of a Showtime Pay-Per-View event.

I made the very same statement when the announcement was made. Haymon has been working Berto into the mix for a long time and it was only because of injuries, the event in Haiti and Berto losing to guys he should have beaten (More importantly) that has relegated him to the lower tier of the WW division.

How could that have ended, when he's fighting Mayweather in less than 1-month?

Really? Like what fights exactly? Soto Karass? His barber? Josesito Lopez?

Khan fought former champions Devon Alexander AND Chris Algieri.

This is crazy talk. Berto has been irrelevant since Victor Ortiz burried him FIVE YEARS AGO.

...and really lost to Algieri or looked bad trying to win.

He didn't lose. And IF he did, the point Jangles was making was that Berto was taking the fights to try and land Mayweather. I completely debunked that. What's your answer to that? "Khan lose to Algieri" at least he fought him. And he won btw, no matter how you slice that pie.

He prob was 1 fight away from a Mayweather fight but then went down hill and continued onto that down hill streak.

Berto is a garbage fight PERIOD.. Anyone who justifies it is just a damn Floyd troll..
