Khan is a nobody. Mayweather has been in with current champions and made tonnes of money. Lions don't go around worrying about the opinion of goats. Mayweather's record doesn't need defending and Khan wouldn't go through it without getting knocked out 15 times.
Also from a financial perspective, How many PPV fights has Khan headlined? That alone should show Khan what position he is on the food chain. Until he fights the current top guys and not way lay people coming off losses like Algieri and Malignaggi he shouldn't expect the marque brands to offer him anything.
