BIRMINGHAM, AL - Heavyweight world champion Deontay "The Bronze Bomber" Wilder (34-0, 33 KOs) will make the second defense of his title when he faces France's Johann "Reptile" Duhaupas (32-2, 20 KOs) in primetime on Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) on NBC Saturday, September 26 from Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Alabama.

Televised coverage begins at 8:30 p.m. ET/5:30 p.m. PT with exciting undefeated brawler Omar "Panterita" Figueroa (25-0-1, 18 KOs) returning to the ring to battle former world champion Antonio DeMarco (31-5-1, 23 KOs) in 12 rounds of super lightweight action. [Click Here To Read More]

How do you even defend Figueroa/Demarco?

There was literally nobody else left in his division or surrounding divisions for him to fight... so he has to ask Demarco, who came off a bad fight, to come out of retirement and fight him?

I don't blame Demarco because he's probably getting money and it's hard to turn down... but jesus wtf? This guy is supposed to be one of your rising stars...

DeMarco sucks ass. Figueroa should be fighting for a title. This is bullshyt.

Omar Figueroa VS Amir Imam would be great too.

I'm satisfied with the main event on the promise we get a unification or mandatory next up for Wilder, he's lined up two soft touches now and really has no room to say he ain't had time to face guys who could prepare him to face sterner opposition.

Did the French dude even bother to show up for the press conference?

They announced him as the opponent yesterday. Probably too short notice for him to travel

His mandatory is Povetkin, whom Team Wilder have made perfectly clear they want absolutely nothing to do with.

It will be another soft touch.
