Comments Thread For: GGG's Coach: I Believe Canelo Will Honor Mandatory

New York - Abel Sanchez, the trainer of Gennady Golovkin has been on record of saying that he feels the lineal and WBC Middleweight Champion Miguel Cotto (40-4, 33 KO’s) will not fight Gennady Golovkin (33-0, 30 KO’s) should he defeat Canelo Alvarez (45-1-1, 32 KO’s).

But with the recent success of Golovkin’s ticket sales for his fight with David Lemieux (34-2, 31 KO’s) and possibly putting up good pay-per-view numbers as the a-side for Golovkin, it could change the dynamic for Cotto. Sanchez says that Cotto may be more willing to fight Golovkin should he become a box office success on pay-per-view and if Cotto dominates Canelo come November 21st.

So Cotto got to have a voluntary defense but if Canelo wins, he has to fight his mandatory right away? Lol! I think Canelo will need a (non-title) 10rder at a full 160 before he gives ggg the biggest payday/MEXICAN STYLE whoopin this lil bus riding guy has seen.

lol @ Sanchez, I have no idea what he is trying to do exactly with all this **** he's saying.

I mean what could he possibly think he's doing for himself with THIS ****:
Gennady Golovkin's trainer Abel Sanchez doesn't agree that his fighter is entering his toughest test to date.

"Sanchez disagrees that Lemieux is GGGs toughest test"

even if Lemiex was GGG's easist opponent people would still buy that fight.

And if he asks you to come down to 155, are you going to b*tch and moan and call him a coward for it? Because no one on Team Golovkin has any ground to stand on to complain about A-side complaints anymore.

                  Mandatory title fight. No catchweights.
Canelo is going to have to finally fight at 160.

Canelo and GBP know what the deal is going into this fight with Cotto.
Winner is next in line for an ass kicking at 160.
