I disagree arum threw loma in with salido in only his second fight.he clearly has confidence in him.if the fight doesn't happen it will be over the catchweight

And Arum was against that fight from my understanding but Loma pressed it. Getting Arum to agree to Salido & Rigo are two different things imho. Rigo is at least a couple levels above Salido. Arum gots Loma locked up for his early prime (til 2020 iirc), he'll surely be able to angle the benefits of making this fight in a year or two when Rigo has gotten a lil older, a lil slower & a lil less this & that.

Rigondeaux is light years ahead of Salido in damn near every aspect of boxing. Their is a huge difference. I don't disagree Arum, was not perfecting or protecting Vasyl but he is with out a doubt right now.

Personally I wouldn't ever see Rigondeaux ever lose to the quality of opponent as Salido. One thing people don't see in Rigondeaux is his boxing IQ, he knows when he has beaten you (during the fight) and at points (not what people want) will cruse to a decision or push to earn points back!!!

If this fight happens, that's 3 megafights in 1 year.

..............."lol loma is still really young its rigo who is an old man".

...point being he has 5 or 6 fights at 27/28 years old. Time is running out for him because there isn't a "group" at 126 that have the clout to bring pay days to the table that translate to the ring!
Traditionaly the little guy struggle for quality opponents so when theres an opportunity you need to take it.
This isn't the days of Pep vs Sadler where they could pack an arena and boxing fans in general took a big interest!

arum has repeatedly said he wants to make the rigo vs loma fight right now instead of later.arum is a liar but still he seemed genuine about it. my thing is rigo doesn't have a promoter and he is fighting with gary to sit out his contract
