lol as if those were the only two fights Roach has been a trainer for. He is ignoring Pac's other fights, let alone Roach's many other trainees. How many fights was he not wrong about?

That being said I will agree that Roach has definitely seen better days. But he still knows a thing or two about a thing or two.

What the ****ed has Canelo done? Beat an almost 2 years inactive Kirkland who trained himself and had china chin. Lost to Lara but got a gift decision. Beat a punch drunk Angulo that almost whent the distance. Got embarrased by Floyd in a one sided fight and arguably lost to Trout.

Before that his resume is full of little guys and bums.

Roach is nothing but an idiot and vastly overrated. All he can train/coach for is pure offense, nothing more. His fighters are not taught zip about defense, setting traps, etc. Roach runs his mouth and it is always always the same bs, my guy will win by KO. Sure buddy. Pac is a natural amazing talent so Roach did not have much to do with him to make him great. What fighter did Roach build from scratch to get to the elite level? Zero that is how many. Sanchez, Garcia, Mayweather Sr., Naazim, Shields all train circles around this idiot. All his accolades are because of Pac who ANY trainer could have gotten to this level because Pac is a rare talent.

Which person in boxing has the worst predictions would be a great thread lol. I definitely would pick Freddie Roach off the top of my head, but I bet there are some ****ty predictors, he just might be one of the more notable ones is why he gets a bad rap.

Geale was never stopped before he fought Golovkin. Cotto stopped him in a different manner and didn't take much, if any return fire like Golovkin did.

I'd say even a drained Geale still has a sturdier chin than Kirkland. Compaing the most recent opposition, Canelo took out an inactive, chinny fighter who was also drained, and Cotto took out a former unified titlist. I'd say they are definitely a class apart in terms of recent opposition.

I think Cotto fans assume he can win by KO because out of 40 victories 33 have come by way of a KO. It's not a recent statistic, and I'm not saying Cotto will KO Canelo but most of his wins are stoppage wins. Also, check out the prefight Vegas odds for Cotto vs Martinez and let everyone know who the betting favorite was...

Lastly, lets not talk about recent class. 2 out of 3 of Canelo's last opponents were washed up (Angulo, Kirkland). Lara is an elite talent at 154 and that was a toss up as far as who won that fight. Anyways, Canelo is a good young talent and this fight reminds me of Cotto vs Mosley with roles being reversed.
