i;m done askin ggg to fight the best...im only going to hope he keeps bring exposer to boxing and great fights...but with that being said p4p are not duckers and popularity is not a determinant..i will rank those who are testing themselves higher...danny garcia per result is higher than ggg on my list..end of story..i rather have close wins than to have ko's over ppl who dont matter

are all these division better than mw? 122, 126,140,147,154,168,175,200, and hw?

if u say yes the "he fights top ten opponents stuff" is pretty overrated..

good luck in his fight tho..if david ko's him we might get a more willing GGG

one last poitn: regardless of the break he took ward is the 2nd best in the sport if not 2nd top 5.
i really believe is ward was a hype job ggg would go right up to 168 and scalp him regardless of how much ward is know or not known..so understand all these excuses are juust bc ward is too damn good and the threat is not hype job level...it is 0 taking level..it is popularity takin level...i think ggg would even take less money if ward was hype instead of good

            "..if it makes financial sense".

Ward only has himself to blame. Leave aside GGG's rise to prominence, Ward's career has taken a massive backward trajectory over the last 3-4 years. It could have been another boxer apart from GGG who would have risen to prominence and Ward would have been in a bad position to make huge bucks. His saving grace has been signing with R.N - lets hope they push him forwards because his default career moves are all angled backwards lately.
Personally I'd like him to unify 168 again. Use Roc Nation's deep pockets to entice other champs into the ring. If he did that he would be A side and either a Kovalev or GGG fight would be monstrous. Of course he'd need to actually start fighting 2/3 times a year - that seems to be the major issue, lack of desire.

ggg fights best opposition. If Ward wants ggg fight he should do something for the fight to happen. If ward is so good and 2 p4p why doesnt he move down to 164 or 160 and schools ggg ?its simple Ward is a bum without weigh advantage

That's not a joke, you're just dumb as hell

                    1. Lemieux wants less money
                    2. Unlike Ward, he brings additional source of revenue, the Canadian ppv
                    3. Lemieux has an exciting style, the kind that casual fans like. They don't like clinchfests, cause they don't know boxing. But that's who you gotta sell ppvs to. Life is cruel like that.
