although I'm one of the many who think he shouldn't be fighting (not only because of the wraps but also his health) I think that a good scraps would be

-Mosely

-Angulo

-Cotto (if he loses to Canelo)

-The Tree Bro (Victor Ortiz)


I think all these would be entertaining scraps. Even put him in there with GGG so he could end his career in one night... just sayin...

Depending on how Margarito looks upon his return he might be able to test the Charlo brothers.

What about fights with:

Gabriel Rosado
Brandon Adams (ESPN fighter)
Dennis Laurente (durable Filipino fighter)
Delvin Rodriguez
Glen Tapia (because that chin is weak)

I'd watch a Rosado Margs fight.. But Rosado is war torn.. Makes for a great fight..

Personally I don't see a very long return. The injury "Margarita" sustained is an injury that will be easily exposed by any fight with good Accuracy. If he was thrown in with the likes of Lara, or Canelo I would fear the worst! Other fighters he may have some advantages to help with his lack of defense but the eye is ruined. Although I dislike the guy, I do appretiate his win or die trying approach... Which has me fear for his well being.

I wouldn't mind seeing Margarito/Ortiz, Magarito/Angulo or Margarito/Trout. If he is thrown in the deep water sooner than he should... Probably looking at soon to be blind fighter.

He has not been any good since before the Mosley fight. He should stay retired.

How about Cotto if he loses to Canelo, a fight with some decent history there. Mosley isn't a bad option either. Could care less about his comeback but those are two decent matchups.
