Catchweights exist for a valid reason and I can fully understand why GGG might want to remain at 160 for his entire career because the names coming up to 160 will be by far bigger than anyone at 168 or anyone who will ever go to 168lbs.
GGG simply isn't worth moving up to 168lbs when you can get a super fight with either Cotto/Canelo then you have guys like Andy Lee who would make a big fight, Peter Quillin then some of the lads down at 154lbs who will eventually come up such as Andrade, Lara, Charlo brothers and so on.

168lbs definitely isn't the stronger division and it doesn't have the better future coming up.
