So you want his level of competition to drop right to the bottom by fighting Ward?

          LOL right?

Not only do I disagree with Sanchez but I don't understand what his incentive is for takin a dump on Lemieux.

Lol, true. Stevens & Lemieux both share fights with Rosado & N'Dam. Stevens fought Rosado in that little pit and was still getting outboxed, where Lemieux had Rosado on the run in the ring. When Stevens fought N'Dam, ME got the smallest ring possible for that fight and N'Dam still boxed Stevens ears off, where Lemieux wasn't giving N'Dam room to breath in their larger sized ring.

Other than the fact they're both short and massive power punchers, Lemieux & Stevens are very different in style and quality. I wouldn't even say Stevens has the better chin than Lemieux. Curtis was TKO'd by Marcus Primera at about the same age as Lemieux was by Rubio.

I still chalk up Lemieux's loss to Alcine as him still being mentally frazzled from the Rubio loss just months earlier. They rushed the young kid back too soon against another vet and it seemed pretty evident during the fight with the way he was reacting to Alcine's punches and the way he broke down crying right after the fight. It was tough to watch.

Like so many of these trainers today.

What Abel needs to be focusing on is that Lemieux is a step up from:

              Geale
              Adama
              Stevens
              Ishida
              Rosado
              etc.......

Hopefully Lemiuex prepares properly for this fight and ignores any "blue print" talk from De La Hoya.

Good stretegy Sanchez. Let's get into Lemieux's head. The psychology of boxing is just as sweet as the science. Afterall, psychology is part of science. Work it.

Abel is crafting a nice little side business for himself with all these quotes the last 18 months. You have folks accusing golovkin of making statements this guy has made. He's a great trainer but he needs another few well known fighters so people can start distinguishing him as speaking for himself and not others.

I don't see GGG as a "Snapping" puncher at all. He is the heavy Thudding puncher like Foreman. Stevens was the pure fast snap type of punch. Lemieux i see as sort of in the middle. Fairly snappy and heavy.

I agree. Lemieux is a freakishly hard puncher. Stevens can crack too but hes not on Lemieux Level.
