Pretty crappy matchup in all honesty. He should be fighting guys like Vargas, Khabib, Herrera or Ali. There are far better options without PBC.

ring mag and some other publications gave matthysse - molina fight of the year

      he was down twice!

and provodnikov - matthysse was another war. lucas was badly shaken. i cannot remember the round, but it looked like a strong wind went through him. he was clearly hurt.

not only is matthysse an overrated fighter, it looks like his chin isn't what it used to be since danny beat him.

We've seen worse tune-ups, but this year hasn't turned out well for Crawford. Hopefully he destroys Jean and bounces back in January/February.

Crawford always willing to step up so if Arum could have made a better match up for him he would have. Unfortunately for Crawford, most of his Division is with PBC so that limits him.
wrong pbc has nobody at 140 garcia moved up.herrera matthysse and postol are the best in the 140 division and all of them are non pbc fighters and are available to fight crawford in the near future.you got names like ruslan and algieri as options as well.

Drinking the HBO kool-aid I see...
Well, enjoy the rest of your day.
.. okay Crawford sits at #8 on the pound for pound list. He's only 27 years old. Fighting a guy that already got beat by Lamont Peterson is a bit disappointing, but all things considered, if the only other option was to sit out, it's not a terrible fight to take. He's not fighting a tomato can

Crawford will get in this fight, and hopefully look for something bigger in 2016. I don't see the big deal

.. what's with the silly smilies? I'm not drinking anything, Crawford dropped Delorme 3x and won in 6 rounds. You're changing the subject because you're unable to back up your opinion with anything relevant.

best case would be Crawford taking on Matthysse/Postol/Pacquiao, but none of those are available so Jean is the next best

              Who?

There was a thread on another site that made a good point about alot of TR's best guys not getting any work.

              What's up with that?

He recently was schooled by Peterson. And he won his next fight I think?

                This is a **** fight.

Wow, Crawford's opposition is so good you can't even get their names right.

Yeah you're drinking the HBO "Crawford was letting himself get punched in the face on purpose" excuse the cuck Max Kellerman was handing out for why the prodigal son Terrence Crawford was once again getting outboxed.

Pretty much, I guess Top Rank will be looking for Crawford to register an impressive KO to set up a Pacquiao bout.

That's because Haymon ruined the year, there were hardly any other good fights.

Matthysse knocked Molina out, then knocked Ortiz out then was first guy to beat Provodnikov without controversy. Victor Postol..."you nex"

At least he still fights punchers, Garcia is completely shook off fighting punchers since Matthysse had him deaf and piddling blood. He's as bad as Khan now.
