Personally I find it ironic fans are claiming these guys are "chumps", "just okay"... If you hold a title, no matter which way it was taken you are an "Elite" fighter. Outside of the 1 KO lose against another great fighter, Jacobs has proved he is a great fighter being an all around fighter (not greatly skilled) and often goes out trying to give what people want; Good fights. Quillin although a little more difficult to defend, he has shown good skill but often takes away a from that with his lack of offense.

This maybe a little bit of a mismatch, but Jacobs will bring the fight to Quillin; who is far from a great defensive fighter who isn't impossible to hit! Personally I find this the best non ppv fight being offered this late in the year.

I mean yea it makes no sense to hear ppl ****ting on this fight. Both guys are at least at the same level as lemieux. Quillin is probably actually better. I don't understand how u pan this fight and then cheer Golovkin vs Lemieux. Both fights are about the same level.

I'd say GGG > Quillin and Lemieux > Jacobs, though the latter pair is much closer to even. I give Lemieux the edge over Jacobs because Jacobs didn't look super impressive against Sergio Mora, whereas Lemieux looked very good against N'Dam who is better than Mora imo. The margin separating Jacobs/Lemieux though isn't very wide in my mind.

So Quillin/Jacobs is probably a bit more competitive a matchup, and while I'm not as excited for it I can admit that it's a fine fight.
