I actually think glowacki-jones was signed at one point but glowacki got hurt and pulled out and roy got a split decision over some other polish contender
That was another guy, ended up in prison for running a prostitution ring or something. That guy wouldn't be granted an entrance visa

All about Maintaining Solid Ratings more than anything, Networks who could potential invest in it wants to know if Boxing has a consistent Following and for the most part it does.

What Else can Spike TV Show that can do ratings like that or better besides Bellator I guess

Love Boxing but I love NFL Football MORE so I was watching Preseason Football on the TV and streamed Boxing

The problem is, this card cost 30x Fnf, and delivered 3x in ratings. Bellator is tons cheaper. At some point the networks will have to pay for it, and Spike isn't paying that much for those ratings

Yeah and NHL Hockey Players make more than Boxers and MMA Fighters have you seen the Ratings for NHL Hockey Regular Season Games? Can't compare Bellator to what PBC is trying to do. They're on Multiple Networks, Bellator is likely not on any other Network if they did not have SpikeTV

Networks are always looking for Programming that can BRING Ratings to their Network and Boxing has a Decent Following and it Brings its fans to a Network they normally don't watch.

I don't think guys like Spike will pay those purses unless this thing takes off in a major way. Like I said, they can get similar value far cheaper. ESPN was budgeting like 30k for FNF. Only premium networks would pay 1m+ for the niche audience

Another PBC flop! They can pay these low rent scribes to try and put positive spins on these bombs but these are horrid numbers for paid time slots. Investors are selling paintings and taking their kids out of private schools lol

If the product brings in decent ratings, then why not pay more for it? Like you said, if it takes off in a major way, then they'll pay those purses. Boxing has always had a following. Even if it's a smaller following than most. And there's enough people who are casual fans who would sit down and watch a fight if they happen to be at home channel surfing. They won't watch every fight, but they'll watch some.
