It is kinda interesting, looking at his Boxrec....

    In 2006, he's a welterweight.

In 2007, he's at junior middle.

    In 2008, he's at middleweight.

In 2009, he's at at super middleweight and popped for steroids.

In 2010, he's at light heavyweight.

He essentially got to advertise himself on her show because he wanted it.
The check for $1 is for what is known in legal circles as "consideration" which is an element of a contract.

can't have a contract for zero dollars

Just shows the hypocrisy here had it been haymon we would be crucifying him

sweep WHAT under the rug? Obviously Fonfara's value as an opponent has gone up since the Chavez fight. But what do offers made by Duva a year ago have to do with Fonfara posting that check today?

I just dont see how the 2 things are related.......

What was the offer and when was the offer made?

Fonfara just turned 27 years old and is listed a 6'2" tall. No idea how tall he was when he debuted, but I'm pretty sure he's picked up a few inches in height and size since he was 18 years old, lol

I'm a huge fan of ****ting on Duva, but it sounds like this isn't a legit thing to **** on her about. He bought his way on the card. The promoter doesn't pay fighters anything when that happens. Or they gotta pay a buck maybe idk, but this ain't a real story is the point. Huge miss by Fonfara here, but the check will be talked about by no-nothing mfers for months to come I'm sure.

                  Thank God for Al Haymon

Thank God for Al Haymon, these warriors shouldn't have to deal with these ****** “promoters” like duva and arum.

I don't know the whole story about this but I don't understand why smaller promoters are beig bashed lately for not being able to overpay fighters with seven figure purses. They simply don't have the resources to do that.

I will be happy when someone stop “over paying” you.
