Duran is a good shout but id go way way back to the early days and see the fighters of old and take a fighter with me to see how those guys would match up with the styles of today

If you had a time machine what fighter would you want to go and watch fight in their prime and why?

For me it would have to be Robert Duran as a lightweight. He is considered the best ever lightweight of all time and universally top 10 maybe top 5 fighter of all time. But for me Duran at lightweight was just a total machine. There is no man at lightweight in any era who could beat him. He was fast and had all time great skills and the tenacity he had was unmatched. It would be a dream to go back and watch him perform at his ultimate best at lightweight.

Salvador Sanchez, with the fight that I absolutely had to see live being Sanchez vs Azumah Nelson.

I'd go to ancient Rome in it's prime, watch some gladiator *****. Real warriors who fought to do the death. And I'd pay front row to watch a comedy show of christians being fed to lions. Must have been a laugh riot!

Can we bring Floyd and toss him in a gladiator arena? I'd like to see how his sweet science works against someone trying to chop him in two in a fight where the only man left alive is the one who wins. No judges and no decisions. Running and ducking will not help.

I'd need to do some research on the biggest upset that had betting lines available in recent or not too distant history & go back to see that fight with a pocket full of cash or whatever sort of currency I'd need to be using for that time period. #ImRich*****

Ahh man thank you. That's would be amazing.

Just imagine the fights that would have been made if he never left us. The one fight I think about that would have been just to amazing is him and Julio Cesar Chavez. If they would have fought Sanchez would have been the more seasoned veteran going against the up and coming lion. Damn what a fight it could have been. My apologies Sanchez(rip) but I'd lean slightly toward Chavez in that one. Breadman(with the amazing daily bread here on BS) told me he had asked Juan Laporte(who fought both guys) who would he have taken in that fight and he said Chavez because he was so relentless and strong but that Sanchez was just a master technician, so he thought it would have been a close fight but eventually going to Chavez.

I'd have stopped Mike Tyson from meeting Robin Givens. Think we coulda gotten some more good years with him. Also I'd put a camera in Ms. Washington's hotel room & make millions selling the sextape that I'd only release after Tyson was convicted so I could parlay it into some fame for myself too.
