So there might of been a thread on this topic already but I was thinking what is the next great rivalry in boxing? As annoying as these rivalries can sometimes be they are key in keeping boxing going. The problem is it seems like the next rivalry is turning into Al Haymon vs the other promoters and honestly that sucks. I would make a poll but i think that will box this thread in. Some examples are Canelo/GGG or GGG/Ward. Ward/Kovalev u got Khan/Brook. Hopefully there is never a perfect storm like may pac ever again cause that will mean the fight got drug out way to long but that dont mean we cant have great rivalries. I dont know there are great champions right now but there is not that perfect rivalry yet. I think ggg will most likely be involved but it could be anyone. But anyway guys who do you think the next great rivalry in boxing will be?
What is the next great rivalry in boxing now that may pac has happened.

they're not garbage talkers, but the best possible fight in boxing is between kovalev and ward at 175 lbs.
i expect one more fight from ward at or around 168 lbs, a fight at 175 against a contender, and then a fight with kovalev at the end of 2016.
his team may hold out for a fight with golovkin for bigger money, but that looks a heck of a lot less likely. -
Khan and Brook is a huge domestic rivalry that could become a world class rivalry if Brook can raise his profile in the states and if Khan can win a 147 title.Comment

Is going to be Cotto-GGG. When Cotto dismantles Canelo the GGG fight will gain a lot of hype. It will go to another level when Cotto decides not to fight him after canelo and somehow the WBC gives him another mandatory making The GGG fans go ape ****.
Cotto-GGG will happen in late 2016 or early 2017. By that time the fight would be easily over 1 millionin PPV because the demand would be over the top.Comment

Khan v Brook has definitely garnered a lot of press, so it may be that.
Kovalev v Stevenson is obviously more relevant and it's the one fight I want but it's not the attention grabber that Khan/Brook is.Comment
