For starters Monroe wasn't coming from two losses. The only loss he had was 4 years ago - split decision to Darnell Boone - the guy who dropped Ward. Monroe may appear a better fight in a hindsight, because GGG didn't ruin him (at least physically) and he may still achieve something, because he clearly can box.

Wow... Some here don't know the real value of David Lemieux... Might be a premature fight, but might be an upset as well...
Looking at GGG resume, who exactly did he fight with who has the power of Lemieux ? Sure he had a hard time in 2011, but then he just didn't give a damn about anything and prepared poorly relying on his power only... This led to his career not evolving as it should...
Don't underestimate the guy... I'm sure GGG clan doesn't ...
Anything can happen on October 17th... Curious about how either of them will accept the first power shots...Comment

Yeah I see a stoppage/KO win for GGG by mid rounds. I think Lemieux loads up and throws too wide and doesn't have enough head movement/defense. However, Lemieux has atomic bombs in both hands and with power like that it only takes one shot. Does he land that one shot? Probably not but it will be fun to watch for sure. GGG has hard, heavy handed thudding power I agree, but it's not true 1 shot KO power. Lemieux has 1 shot pulverizing power in his hands. Could be fun!Comment

I ll definitely post some links... name calling is not going to validate your opinion anymore or anyless... but hey if it works for you, Golovkin calling out smaller dudes. that's a fact, no name calling here, hes willing to fight some guys at 168 and other guys hes not. Cotto in fact is doing the same thing which ironically he is getting criticized for (as well he should, and im a cotto fan)Comment
