floyd beat judah first then baldomir. it made no sense at all. judah was at an all time low coming off an embarrassing loss.

No it is you who goes into fantasy mode, ive posted facts many times but you want to make up your own history

Bob Arum, Mayweather’s promoter at the time said that Mayweather preferred to await the outcome of the May 6 Oscar De La Hoya-Ricardo Mayorga fight instead of committing to Margarito because he would prefer to fight De La Hoya.

Arum stated that Mayweather would have fought Margarito for the 8 million, but he wanted a guaranteed 10 million to fight Miguel Cotto and Ricky Hatton. Arum only guaranteed him 7 million. And for those who don’t know Cotto and Hatton were at the Mayweather-Gatti fight and Cotto was ranked number 5 by the ring at the time (Proof: Listen to the commentary Jim Lampley at the end of round 5) . Cotto had just moved up to the 140 pound weight class and he didn’t make an offer to fight Mayweather after the Gatti fight.

Arum said Mayweather also asked for $20 million to fight De La Hoya, a fight Arum said he wasn’t interested in participating in. “That’s not in the cards,” Arum said. “He wants $20 million for the De La Hoya fight? It’s not there. Sometimes, my man, you gotta know when to hold ’em and when to fold ’em. We’ll talk about things down the road.” Notice this part Arum was talking

people wanted flyod to fight judah coming off a loss and a journeyman instead of a popular mexican who was ranked #1? really now? and how did those floyd ppvs do against judah and baldomir? crap numbers. why do you think floyd always picked mexicans to fight like marquez, ortiz, guerrero, canelo etc...cause he knows mexicans watch boxing yet when margarito was around...he wouldnt' fight him even for career highs

we have been through this so many times larry just stop. you aren't able to comprehend what you are even reading so why post it? floyd priced himself out of the fight if you can't comprehend that then don't post it. he would fight marg if arum gave him 20 million guarantee to fight hoya...aka that would never happen in a millino years and you know why? because he only got a 10 million guarantee when he fought hoya. so just stop. thats pricing yourself out and you know it. he also turned down 7 million to fight marg and took 4 million to fight sharbma so stop with your ignorance. floyd didn't want the fight.

I cant wait for Floyd to retire so we dont have to ever be bored to death with his lame ass fights that never live up to the hype. Knowing all along his career was marketed very well to make everyone surrounding him plenty of money. The joke is almost over. He will fight Berto lmfoa lol blah haahahahahahaha for his last fight and we will never have to see him in the ring again.

As for Aqua Manny. He will come back and fight a game quality opponent. With two good arms and do what hes done for years...give us exciting fights. Thye he will retire into the sea...oh i got carried away.

I 100% agree it was messed up that was solely Zabs fault but the rivalry was always there and they were always going to fight one another. 2 young urban Americans and there was only space for one, you know how it's billed. Zab f'd up vs Baldomir when it was meant to be a easy bum journeyman. In hind sight Floyd dealt with both.
