The HW division will always be my favorite.

The lower weight classes are great, too, in phases, but it's hard to name just one with the natural tendencies of fighters to creep up in weight.

When I first started getting into boxing it was welterweight through to middleweight due to Ray Leonard, Thomas Hearns, Roberto Duran, Mike McCallum, Herol Graham, Ayub Kalule, Marvin Hagler, John Mugabi, etc. Then when I was really into boxing it was middleweights and heavyweights, middleweights due to the sheer depth of talent we had in the late 80's and early 90's (Nunn, Benn, McCallum, McClellan, Hearns, Barkley, Eubank, Watson, Graham, Toney et al) and heavyweights due to Tyson, Pinklon Thomas (very, very good boxer in mid-80's), Buster Douglas (very, very good boxer in mid-80's), Tony Tucker (very very good boxer in mid-80's), Tyrell Biggs (very, very good boxer in mid-80's), and then the Bowe/Holyfield fights.

it would be biased if i say the featherweights(supers included) because my fave fighter is pac but for real i like the welters up to the middles coz those divisions have speed and power and a lot of good fighter these days but i keep an eye always on my man pac whatever division he may be in

                heavyweights I sheepishly admit

In spite of my criticism of the division I pay the most attention to the heavyweight division, but I pay attention to most of the lower weight classes as well, down to around bantamweight. The heavyweights have the widest range of body types, fighting styles and sizes, all the way from guys who are 5'9" (Toney and Tua) to guys like Valuev at 7', from guys weighting around 200 lbs. to bloated obese guys like Butterbean at nearly 400 lbs. This makes the division colorful to say the least, but sometimes turns the division into a circus sideshow rather than a test of athletic skill.
