I don't really consider guys like Hopkins and Maywether master boxers. Theyre spoilers that learned how to suck the excitement out of any fight. They're like the evolution of Carlos Molina and John Ruiz.

As for master boxers, guys that throw fluid combos, use legal defensive skills , and hardly ever clinch will have to be Marquez, Manny, GGG, Rigo, Lomachenko, and Kovelev

Mayweather barely clinched in his career. I am one of his biggest haters but I'm really sick of this retroactive lie that he was a clincher throughout his career and against Pacquiao. He clinched too much against Maidana. That's one time.

early in his career mayweather didnt really clinch. as he grew older, i think in order to avoid punishment he started to clinch, a lot of boxers do this. i don't think he over does it, but he does it a key moments in order to avoid/ throw a fighter off rhythm.

Now Ward who's younger and should be in his prime, shouldn't clinch. but he's also in a higher weight where clinching happens more frequently

It is pathetic how they act like he fought his entire career like he does at 38..and even now you have 2 fights out of 48 where he clinched..and Hopkins is ****ing 50

old people get a pass why? if they can't win without cheating they shouldn't be boxing anymore. its really sad how you defend cheating. ggg and kovalev won't be around when they are 50 because they have more respect for the sport and for themselves. they won't cheat just to stay relevant. its too bad you don't have any respect for the sport. you think cheating is a good thing.
