So what's the excuse for the Algeria fight that wasn't a comeback fight

Manny didn't lose that fight because Floyd took vacations. Manny lost the fight because his infamous "angles" weren't as effective against Floyd's combination of footwork and ring IQ.

Do you actually watch boxing? If you think Floyd is still in his physical prime than you're an idiot. Physically they are both past their primes. They however were still ranked p4p #1 and #2 respectively and Floyd won. If you can't admit that you're biased.

Ortiz was one of the better welters at the time of the Floyd fight. In retrospect he wasn't special but there was definitely a bunch of people here picking Ortiz due to size and power. I wasn't picking Ortiz but he was a solid fight at the time that Floyd fought him.

So you listen to Marquez's excuses after the fight w/ Mayweather, do you also believe his excuses when he said he beat Pacman and deserved the decision? If Marquez failed to train properly for the fight that is his fault. He called Mayweather out and said he was willing to move up. Duran called out Sugar Ray Leonard and won, why are you acting like that's impossible?

Cotto appeared to be in better form for the Mayweather fight as opposed to the Pac fight. He lost to Margarito, and arguably lost to Clottey and then fought Pac. He moved up to what he said was a more comfortable weight and then came off three early stoppages to fight Floyd (at a weight that favors Cotto).

no, manny lost the fight because he was war torn and just far past it compared to floyd. he had nothing left in terms of hunger and was physically deteriorating (floyd knew this). shocking that u refuse to admit that more fights/more wars/getting KO'ed cold in ur mid 30s = taking considerable amount away from ur prime. understand that when u take a lot of "vacations" and fight only once a year u are preserving ur prime and prolonging it. on top of that floyd fights very cowardly/safe so he doesn't endure much wear and tear. therefore floyd could easily fight well into his 40s if he wanted to where pac honestly only has two good fights left in him.

Really, I think both opponents look like warm up type of fighters I suppose the being knocked out thing might factor a bit into why he took that **** fight but even at that he really should have been fighting that guy who beat Rios that way It'd have been more reasonable i.e. I think Algieri fight was fair because he beat Provodnikov who was next in line to face Pacman.

Mosley is crazy and possibly broke now. Why should Mayweather fight Porter? Who has Porter beaten? Didn't he just get beat by Brook and before that he hadn't really beaten anyone. Berto has been in bigger fights, he has paid his dues and he deserves a big pay day.

Thurman is a nobody. He went life and death with Collazo. I give him credit for beating Guererro but Guererro hasnt been good of late.
