Looks like unbeaten junior featherweight Diego De La Hoya could face Jesus Ruiz on September 4, Joel De La Hoya advised BoxingScene.com on Thursday afternoon.

The 10 round bout will headline a 'L.A. Fight Club' card and will take place at the Belasco Theatre in Los Angeles.

Estrella TV will televise the bout along with other preliminary bouts.

Damn, Oscar De La Hoya is out to embarrass Leo Santa Cruz, . Diego De La Hoya is 6 years younger than Leo Santa Cruz with 1/3 of the amount of fights and they're fighting the same competition, . First Manuel Roman, now Jesus Ruiz.

Diego De La Hoya vs. Jesus Ruiz should be an excellent fight. Even before Ruiz fought Santa Cruz I thought he was a solid fighter, .
