It was an all round ugly fight with the way Lara ran but I had Canelo winning. And yes Lara RAN. That wasnt footwork, movement or defense. The man ran around the ring all night. Should have had his purse stripped for refusing to engage.

I honestly do not see how anyone had Trout or Lara winning

Lara, had Canelo winning that fight as well. 2nd is Trout, a fight in which many people picked him to lose.

Lol this guy knows it's Lara and Trout he just wants to create a debate about whether he deserved the decisions.

That's the one that gets to me, Trout fight wasn't close. Although I had Canelo beating Lara I wouldn't have had a problem if Lara got the victory, that was actually very close.

You'll learn that A-side fighters are not allowed to have closely contested decisions.

Trout, even though that could have easily been a draw at least.

Don't see how anyone can say he beat Lara, No way Canelo won 7 rounds in that fight while landing 1 meaningful head shot. He got the decision but dient win that fight.

Canelos resume is filled with smoke and mirrors.

                  Kirkland - Semi retirement
Angulo - Weight Drained ghost of his former self
                  Lopez - No explanation needed
Mosely - Old and hadn't won in years

Go back further and you can poke more holes in his resume, Even how he got his strap is BS.

Lara and Trout. His wins over Kirkland and Angulo aren't worth a thing to me, but I was impressed with his wins over L & T; if he can pick up a win against Cotto, that will be another impressive win on his resume.

Feel that Golovkin will body him, but Alvarez picking up a legitimate win would be tremendous for the sport. It would be a superb win for a fighter who is only 25. Hopefully they have a competitive fight.

I had Canelo beating Trout but if you looked hard enough you could probably find a way to score it for Trout, but it would be because you want to score it for him instead of looking at it objectively.

The Lara fight was close but i think Canelo won it. Lara just ran and danced and didn't have any intention of boxing for most of the fight. I enjoy a good slick fighter but that night he would have run a prime Haile Gebrselassie close in the marathon. Again if you did score for Lara or a draw there can't be any complaints but i think he did just enough.

At the end of the day, he's always going to get the nod in a close fight because he's Golden Boys cash cow now. They would have robbed Floyd and give Canelo the win if it wasn't so one sided, CJ Ross tried.
