Comments Thread For: Khan: Thurman Has Flaws, Power Not Always Working

Amir Khan (31-3, 19KOs) is not too impressed with the punching power of WBA 'regular' welterweight champion Keith 'One Time' Thurman (26-0, 22KOs).

Thurman has been calling for a fight with Khan in the near future. Both are expected to return in the fall and neither has an opponent lined up. Khan has mentioned a potential fight with Thurman on several occasions, but he predicts that fight is likely going to happen in 2016.

They should just make this fight, Khan is willing to fight in america so Thurman doesn't need to be afraid to travel.

Now that he knows he won't be fighting a mayweather, khan clearly is interested in fighting the best of the rest at 147. I would like to see him fight Danny Garcia, he clearly has the skills to beat him but Garcia has the punch to end it, makes for an interesting fight.

This is one of the reasons i hope Mayweather retires soon. It would open up 147 because everyone would now want to fight each other.

Khan talks a good fight but the reality is he's just a mouth with no chin.

Khan beats Thurman just as easy as he whupped Maidana and Judah. It goes without saying really, we all know Thurman isn't on Khan level.
