I don't see hundreds of thousands of Americans paying $50(?) to watch Golovkin against a French-Canadian at this point in time, especially with Canelo-Cotto around that time. First time for GGG on PPV, see it doing 150,000 max., just my opinion.

Lemieux couldn't take Rubio's assault, what makes any of you ****boys think he'll be able to take Golovkin's?
It works both ways, Golovkin may get caught himself, that's the intrigue of the fight.

Floyd Mayweather is fighthing in September. Cotto/Alvarez are fighting in November. No way in hell a fight between a wannabe star and a C-class fighter sells more than 50,000 PPVs between those two cards.

The blogger who wrote this got his information mixed up. What he should have said was that 10,000 is the number of PPVs that Loeffler expects the fight to sell, not the number of tickets already sold.

After the press conferences next week I think you'll see them push the marketing for this fight. I think it'll do between 300,000-400,000.

Who's buying that POS in September?

I'm not intrigued. If Golovkin gets caught (and that's a big if), he'll pop back up like N'Dam did. When Lemieux gets caught (and it'll happen sooner vs. later), he'll wither like the soft p*ssy he is.

Personally, beating up on Peter Quillin's leftovers (Guerrero, Rosado, N'Dam) after having your soul taken by Rubio and Alcine doesn't spell live underdog to me. But for the Golovkin nuthuggers embrassed at their man's empty resume, I understand the need to big up his opponents.

Don't know what's so surprising about this. They're both entertaining fighters. Fans don't expect to see running, clinching, potshotting and all that boring crap. Deal with it people.

This is reminiscent of the Tyson era where crowds come in droves to celebrate the sport not necessarily to see Tyson lose. They want to see fighters fighting, not running, clinching, potshotting and all that boring crap. They're sick of that garbage.

These warriors need to be congratulated.

Their brains will congratulate them in their 50s and 60s.

Yeah, but N'Dam can run, it's not in Golovkin's DNA, he'll go right back into the line of fire.
