    Comments Thread For: Anthony Joshua: Dillian Whyte is Just Another Opponent

    Anthony Joshua is refusing to be wound-up by Dillian Whyte's jibes – and says the two have never been friends.

    The Olympic gold medallist is heading for a winter showdown for the British title with the rival heavyweight who beat him in the amateurs.

    Whyte has started the war of worlds by insisting Joshua "is no bad man – he is a good boy" and although Joshua denies they have ever been friends, he dismissed the claim that he is too nice to win.

    "So because I’m a boxer, do you want me to walk in the room and smash up tables and throw chairs?" he told Sky Sports after appearing on Soccer AM.

    Dumb comment from Whyte, good class from Joshua.

    I think Whyte just might get the better of him.

    Then again we might see another case of Lewis vs Ruddock ey.

      It's a fun fight, but these two are not on the same level. I think most people see that. Joshua will have him out inside 3.

          Joshua is impressing me in and out of the ring so far no need for talk when just do the job and quickly. Another early KO when he faces Whyte who is a step above his resume so far would put him up to European title level, interesting times. Needs to take a good shot at some stage though.

            Joshuas a complete fake " I'm just Anthony" :wank::wank::wank:

            Anthony's not even his real name all his friends and family etc call him Femi as in Oluwafemi his birth name.

            I think Dillian Whyte has a real chance of beating AJ and he comes across much more real in interviews not like Joshua with his manufactured boring rehearsed answers.

              Joshua isn't a fake as such, he's just not good at playing the tough guy because he's actually an intelligent fighter, not a tough guy brawler type. 99% of the time he's completely genuine though. He should stick to contemplating the method of attack, rather than focus on the style of the ceremony.

              On the other hand, Dillian Whyte is another likeable character, same way Joshua is. Lets hope this is a very close fight so we can have a rematch down the line. Win-win for both fighters.

                Actually Anthony is his first name and olufemi is his middle name. Even so what has that got to do with anything? this is boxing not some Hollywood fiction.
