The show goes on for unbeaten middleweight Caleb Plant, which is a good thing considering he was already en route by the time word came of a change of opponent for his next fight.
Plant will appear on the August 15 edition of Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) on NBC Sports Network, serving in supporting capacity to former super middleweight champ Lucian Bute at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada.
The original plans called for Plant (8-0, 7KOs) to take on Hungary's Zoltan Sera. Instead, the fighting pride of Ashland City, Tennessee will now take on Chris Hermann of Germany in a scheduled eight-round swing bout.
