I think your off Cottos Experiance and Roach put it more like a 70/30. A prime Cotto would be to small and not disciplined. I give a prime Cotto a 50/50

This is a tremendous fight absolutely but not the magnitude of May/Pac.

Should be an ok fight. Canelo and Cotto are probably the 3rd and 4th best MWs in the world, now that Martin Murray has moved up to SMW.

The winner will duck GGG, of course. But at least the CW crap will be over with.

Canelo by late KO. Cotto will use his footwork and better jab to keep Canelo at bay but eventually he will square up long enough for Canelo to do some damage. Either way this is going to be a good fight. Hope is has a good undercard too.

I'm looking forward to this fight. Though I don't like how some people are saying it's as big as Pacquiao-Mayweather.

People aren't comparing the two fights directly, but I hear the term "mega fight" and "super fight" tossed around a lot for Cotto-Canelo. Emm, a "mega fight" is what Pacquiao-Mayweather was, this fight isn't near that level.

The Pacquiao vs Mayweather fight was huge in anticipation and revenue generated only. As an actual fight, it was piss poor. The Canelo vs Cotto fight is huge due to the long-standing Mexico-Puerto Rico rivalry, and the fact that these two fighters are actually exciting FIGHTERS, not tentative, grabbing, holding, & running boxers. This fight promises to deliver far more excitement than the ridiculously-priced, horribly-fought garbage that was Pacquiao vs Mayweather.
