i think he's just naming the guys he saw/know about.

he was a big delahoya fan.

chaves was like 100-0 when pac was a kid.

holyfield was the man for a while at hw.

    foreman became oldest HW champ.

pac was born 1978 so mid 80's to 90's was when he was a fan.

except ali. but everyone knows ali.

mike was raised by cus d'amato and had access to his fight library.

not every boxer is a boxing fan. to most its just a job.

knowing about pep or hank or louis or ray is meaningless.

plus most of us watched boxing as kids because of our dads.

pacs dad left him after eating his dog.

            nahh, didnt you see Passion?

Those Romans came in overweight as all hell. Rumour has it the ***s slipped the Emperor some money to raise the catchweight to 316 without announcing it to the public, they billed it as a Cruiserweight fight.

These lists are all relative for the most part. But mine would be:

              1. Sugar Ray Robinson
              2. Willie Pep
              3. Joe Louis
              4. Roberto Duran
              5. One of these probably (Sugar Ray Leonard, Marcel Cerdan, Sandy Saddler, Archie Moore).

Much respect to JCC and Ali but I do not think they are top 5. Also I am sure my 2-5 choices could be shuffled around but to me there is absolutely no question who the #1 of all time is, nor should it be to anyone else.

He likes heavyweights doesnt he? George Foreman was great, but top 5, don't know about that one?

Maybe Floyd should rematch Pac and beat him for real next time to get more respect from Pac. He might top Pacs top 5.

You got to figure, he grew up watching ODLH and even stated the dude was his idol plenty of times. With that in mind, it's no wonder he would think so highly of him.

Think about it, if your a Floyd fan, you would do the same, you would have Floyd somewhere in the top 5. No different than what Pac did. In retrospect, ODLH fought the better comp probably at a better time in their career than Jr. Maybe he is on to something.
