I like John David Jackson as a trainer, but that cat trains a ton of dudes. For the last couple years you literally see him on every show that is televised training some dude.

That is always my issues with the hot trainer, no matter how good the guy is building that relationship between fighter and trainer is equally if not more important. Without the time to properly put in it is extremely hard to actually build that relationship.

Versus Broner, this kind of move alters things a bit, but I don't think Broner is such a bad fighter that it now puts Khabib's chances over the top. Still, I will hold on my prediction until we get some good footage of JDJ and Khabib working together.

I love the sport and I know it changes people for the better. As long as Broner was winning he was insufferable, smug, self centered. Lets see if a couple of losses changed that. Not looking for a big change, just get serious. Nobody is quitting at the sound of his name, he isn't riding in Floyd's limo anymore, and stepping stone status looking him in the face. Khabib has a good chance, he isn't bad and Broner has to make 140.

I think John David Jackson's stature as a trainer has been growing and growing. He is a very level-headed guy.

Newsflash: He's still insufferable, smug, self centered. And he's already lost 2 fights. And he's already at gatekeeper status. The guy will never learn. He's proven he has zero class, zero dedication, zero role model, zero common sense. Total zero, except he sorta has a name. Perfect as gatekeeper.
