Ever since I joined these threads it seems there is a huge divide with everyone. To me that's cool and im glad for it as its what makes good debates. But its seems here if you are a fan you have to nutt-hug onto certain fighters and be a part of their bandwagon.
So I have a question for everyone. If you are a certain fan of a fighter do you feel you have to stick up and defend and nut-hug their every move? Because for me when im a fan of a certain fighter I feel like im more harder on them and more critical of what they do in their career. Im a fan of boxing as a whole but I do like certain fighters but my love for certain fighters doesn't cloud my judgement when it come to their opponents and their performances.
I just feel the fighters I love I want them to maximize their talent and push themselves to the limit regardless if it leads to a loss. I want my fighters to show their heart and desire and just go for it. I'll be extra critical of them when I think they are making a mistake opponent wise when they can fight someone else and get more glory for it.
What do you think? Does be a real fan of a fighter mean you have to nutt-hug and defend their every move or can you still be a fan and be critical of them?
