i dont know if you know this but its not hard to see that canada comes to support there fighters just like england does. did you not see the pascal vs kovalev fight all the canadian fans??

not knocking the fight i think it is the best fight at the garden in a long time even better then a lot of cottos fights but to say that GGG is a ticket master seller is absurd.

as far as the fight goes i think it will come down to david being able to handle GGG's power and i dont think he will take it too well. i have more faith in GGG's chin then david.
Lemieux is from Quebec. That means he is a French Canadian fighter. French Canadians do not receive huge support from outside Quebec and I doubt very many Quebecers will be spending the money to go down to NY for a fight. The only reason Quebecers cross the border is to do some cheap shopping in Plattsburgh and even that has taken a huge hit with the current exchange rate.

Golovkin slowly becoming a cash cow is going to draw Ward's full attention the same way Hopkins clamored for a Dela Hoya fight. Nard offered to fight the 154lbs champ at 157lbs and to his word showed up for the fight at 156lbs. Hopkins also weighed in at 157 for Trinidad, the lightest of his career at that point.

“Me and Oscar talked briefly in March,” revealed Hopkins. “I told him we could do it two ways. We could do it at (Oscar’s) weight for his belts, or we could do it for my belts at 157. He corrected me. And said, No, we’ll do it for your belts at 158.”

ggg is a big enough draw where he could fight anyone and it be a big fight. if he fought ward the fight would be ****ing gigantic. him and canelo or even cotto would be even bigger

I don't think it would be, I am not saying the fight shouldn't be made, but Ward is really not a draw. Maybe a few years ago, but his inactivity combined with his opposition of late has lowered his drawing power significantly, and let's be honest even at his peak(popularity wise) he never was that good a draw, even in his hometown.

We all know your hate for GGG is real. He's a star, Ward is BET king.

Good luck trying to get a ticket to a cotto fight or a gatti fight at the garden for $50
                  Box office record is right......
For the cheapest unification at the garden ever.....
I bought a presale ticket and it was full price
There were cheaper tickets to Cotto's last fight
All the $200-500 tickets to this fight sold out

                  Good post bro.

I don't know why people think that would be a huge a fight. Ward fought on bet because nobody else wanted him. It would be a big fight for hard cores but the general public doesn't know Ward. The fight will be as big as hbo and golovkin can make it.
