Whether the comment itself was racist or not, Toney said it out of malice, possibly angered by the sudden flooding of white europeans into the division, and the success of some. Toney has a big mouth, and shouldn't be taken seriously. That being said, put the shoe on the other foot. He was wrong and I believe he said it because Maskaev was in the audience and was talking about getting his shot at Rahman. He was probably also mad that he blew his opportunity at the heavyweight belt. I think his emotions got the best of him.

Why did he diss Klichko and Valuev then? What do they have to do with Arum? He should blame himself for being so out of shape. He does not deserve a rematch. He should have won easily, and he did not. He should go back to rankings and earn another shot.
