How so? He got KO'd by a single punch in the middle of the ring not by submitting to constant pressure. Leo and Jhonny fight nothing alike. Throughout Abner's career he's proven he's one of the most versatile fighters in the game.

The real question is how Leo handles fighting off the back foot when Abner decides to aplply pressure. He's never face competition anywhere nears Mares' level let alone someone that will be willing to push back.

Mares started that fight off too relaxed. He was trying to box him way to much instead of his normal come forward with everything I got style. He was KD'd in the corner and then knocked down again against the ropes, Johnny's pressure put him there.

EDIT: Ok he wasn't knocked down in the corner, I remembered that differently. Still Johnny put a lot of pressure on him early.

Cruz has a chance here to seriously hurt Mares, or win by a solid UD.

Haven't seen it in a while but nothing really happens until the first knockdown. Both guys were feeling each other out just circling the ring. Yes Jhonnh applied pressure after the first KD but Mares was still hurt and never recovered from the KD.
