Comments Thread For: Joseph Parker Motivated By Challenge of Meehan

It may have taken barely a minute for Joseph Parker to topple Bowie Tupou in Invercargill recently, but the ensuing hype surrounding the rising star of New Zealand boxing is somewhat longer in the making.

The 23-year-old combines being a formidable force in the ring with being humble and mild-mannered away from it - a habit that's stuck since a young age and one that he won't be shaking off any time soon.

The world needs to take notice of this bloke, top fighter and he appears to be a top bloke. Not sure who the f*** would accused his last opponent of taking a dive, but in any case the Meehan fight is a serious challenge, good luck to him.

I think the only question here is whether or not Parker can finish Meehan in the very first round. I'm high on Parker, I think he has a lot of potential.

He is good and durable fighter. This fight could go 12 rounds.
Parker should win.He is too fast for Meehan.

Ref needs to step in fast and stop this fight if Meehan is taking damage.

Joseph's speed is ridiculous and you don't wanna see a 45 year old man trapped in the corner.

Wilder is the one who will need medication.
When Parker knocks out old chicken legs.
