    LOS ANGELES - Undefeated two-division world champion Leo "El Terremoto" Santa Cruz held a media workout Tuesday at the Who's Next Boxing Academy in La Puente, Calif., before his showdown with Abner Mares on Premier Boxing Champions on ESPN on Saturday, August 29 airing live from STAPLES Center in Los Angeles.

    Santa Cruz worked out for media, conducted interviews and was even presented with a birthday cake in celebration of his 27th birthday, which was Monday. The band Las Voces Del Ranchowas on hand to sing him "Happy Birthday." [Click Here To Read More]

                          By who? Cruz didnt have the power to fold my drunk uncle he fought in his last fight, you think he'll have the strength to fold Abner? Mares has been in the ring with legitimate champions and contenders, Cruz has Terrazas as one of his most notable wins.

                                  Santa Cruz's last 3 fights have been on short notice, 4-5 weeks tops. This is the first full training camp he's had in a long time. All the hard work is going to pay off on the 29th. The world will know who King Santa is after he destroys Mares

                                      Short notice or not, full training camp or short, he'll suffer the same fate. A loss at the hands of a superior fighter.
