    Over the weekend BoxingScene.com caught up with WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman to get an update on the pending super-fight between WBC middleweight champion Miguel Cotto and former unified super welterweight champion Canelo Alvarez.

    Golden Boy President Oscar De La Hoya has been in the press trying to put pressure on Cotto's team to accept terms for the fight. De La Hoya claimed that all of the details of the fight had been agreed upon accept for an immediate rematch clause.

          Collect sanctioning fee for fight first time belt gets relinquish for rematch, mines well drop belt now keep that sanctioning fee money we don't need WBC making a special belt anyways

                I have mad respect for what Miguel Cotto has done throughout his career but if he beats Canelo, he's going to relinquish that WBC strap faster than Charlie Sheen can say winning 10 times after blowing down an 8 ball haha. He wants no part of GGG.
