Featherweight/junior lightweight prospect Gervonta Davis will appear on the undercard to Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s supposed farewell fight in Las Vegas, according to Lorin Chvotkin, a publicist for Davis.
The 20-year-old from Baltimore will most likely be in the preliminary bouts prior to the pay-per-view, which features Mayweather vs. Andre Berto in the main event and has a televised undercard with super middleweight titleholder Badou Jack vs. George Groves and a rematch between 130-pound titleholder Roman Martinez and Orlando Salido, plus a fourth bout that has not yet been announced. Another undercard fight, one between junior middleweights Vanes Martirosyan and Ishe Smith, will air on Showtime prior to the pay-per-view.
