Yup talk about terrible move by Jennings and his management. Turned down the fight after his OWN promoter wanted it and said the money was good. But great move by Golden Boy to scramble and get a quality backup plan in Stiverne which is a great test for Ortiz.

that card is friggin loaded. Gonzales vs Viloria might steal the show and if Stiverne vs Ortiz also happens that would be amazing. Can't wait for October. TRIPLE GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Absolutely. I bet Gary was livid when Jennings said "no thanks" lol

Jennings seems to want another title shot, another fighter with delusions of grandeur.

Just tweeted out by Dan Rafael

            #GGGLemieux tix pre-sale began Tues & has already sold over 5k tix. Best pre-sale MSG has had, surpassing Wlad-Jennings & Cotto-Margarito 2.

Put on a great card and the fans will come

I have to wait and see what his next fight is but so far it looks like a duck move. I seriously doubt his next fight is for a title shot or worth half what he was was just offered by his promoter. This appears to be him and his management not wanting to risk back to back losses. Ortiz to me would of been a 50/50 fight. He will likely fight a bum for peanuts instead.

Really interested in the PPV numbers for this one. If it breaks 300K, I'll give Ducklovkin credit.
