Well, HBO was with him when he was an exciting boxer-puncher.

But Showtime obviously didin't invest in him because he was exciting, but because he's a money making machine. Quite rare actually that a fighter who's not perceived to be overly exciting to watch is so well paid. Kudos.

But you can ask the general public, NSB, "experts", whoever. I don't think many will say a Mayweather fight is super exciting. That's just the honest truth.

I liken it to watching the Spurs play ball. If you love the game of basketball the Spurs are a great team to watch. and they will always excite you. If you like dunks and crossovers the "and 1" style of game will be more exciting.

I like drama created by fighters going hard to win more than I do the excitement from watching 2 lesser skilled people brawl.

Its the difference between eating a banana and a candy bar. One gives you true energy, the other a cheap high/buzz that wears off quickly.

Only Floyd Fanboys enjoyed the Canelo fight. The kid was BADLY drained. Just like Hoya was against Manny. Those are the two worse drains I ever seen. EVER. But you enjoyed Floyd's performance? Canelo struggled to make 154 in his previous fight with Trout and had all the fight in him of an M.E suffering syphilitic poodle lol. Canelo draining was way way worse. Only a biased fool would argue otherwise.
