so did winky and bernard hopkins.

trinidad would always have trouble with somebody who moved and set up counterpunches like floyd mayweather. oscar was more of an upright and straight forward boxer / puncher, but he had the craft where it counted to make tito miss or not throw, and land his own stuff and win rounds.

as you said, the X factor is the power. floyd's a much smaller man anturally than wright and hopkins, and is even markedly smaller than de la hoya.

i think floyd's chin is good, but it's almost surely not on the level of de la hoya, hopkins, or wright, who all had cast iron chins in their primes and were large.

I'd actually expect Mayweather to shine against Trinidad, I do however favor Trinidad against Pacquiao.

Trinidad wouldn't be able to land eye catching clean effective punches on Mayweather over 12 rounds. Mayweather would win on points 8-4. Pacquiao could pose some problems for Trinidad fast hands fast feet I give the edge to Trinidad by decision or stoppage

Yup. He went to weight classes up and fought the best in the division and got KOed. And we are talking about Hopkins.

Tito would be a nightmare for both. I think Pacquiao gets flattened. Mayweather-Trinidad goes to the cards. Unpopular decision for Mayweather because he moved too much.

Tito was at his best at 147-154. Not 160.
