WBC/WBA welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (48-0, 26KOs) is not worried about what he describes are "haters" - who are promising not to purchase his upcoming Showtime Pay-Per-View event against Andre Berto on September 12th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

He feels some fans, and writers, are never satisfied with his opponent selections - and they always threaten to avoid his pay-per-view fights - but they always end up tuning in on fight night.

Have to agree with Floyd here. It's a **** fight but if you don't like it don't buy it. I know I won't.

Reality will hit Floyd hard when he sees those #s come in. They can cover it up when it does 400k but some one with inside knowledge will expose the real #s. Great career, decent farewell fight, bad move making it PPV. Will leave a bitter taste in your own fans mouth.

I'm actually not gonna buy it... If it was in CBS, of course I would watch it, but not PPv

This will be a boring fight... Berto only is in action fights when his opponent is aggressive like ortiz or ghost.. Floyd isn't going to be that aggressive and will potshot flat footed Berto all night.... 119-109 type fight
