But IMO, Floyd couldn't have ran and clinched any better than he did that night. His punches weren't all that good but they never were going to be.

You just need to look at SRLs venomous combinations against the bigger haggler to see how ATGs punch. Floyd has nothing against the smaller Pac. At least JMM planted his feet and got the ko.

There was just so much wrong with Floyds win over Pac that without a rematch it don't look good for Floyd historically.
And Floyd completely dominated Marquez so who gives a ****.

and SRL is SRL, not a lot do it better than him.

Are you sure about this? Are you really sure? Many people would like to see a rematch. People are optimists and not everyone thinks the second fight would be as boring as the first or at least think it might actually live up to expectations second time round.

And with a healthy shoulder who knows what story would unfold? And yes, not everyone thinks Pacs shoulder injury was fake. Id say most think Pacs shoulder problem was of great significance to how the fight turned out or materialised.

As time goes on, people are seeing Floyd didn't really win this fight. Or certainly not as convincingly as originally thought.
you are right on the button...

floyd made sure he "won" the pac fight by the formula: pac vs floyd + nsa + ref + judges + running & hugging.....sorry if i missed someone he he he

Pacquiao had the media and public on his side. The ref had officiated more of his fights than Mayweather's. "Hugging" is what people who don't know crap about boxing call clinching, a move that has always been a part of boxing.

An overblown lightweight Marquez vs a real welterweight at that point in time. Who do you think will win? You dont even have to watch to know who wins lol

Floyd is all smoke and mirrors, always knows when to cherry pick his opponents at the right time, but this time his cherry picking boomeranged on Him picking Berto has caught a lot of heat. You know why? Coz it's too fuvking obvoius of a cherry pick that's why lol

I think you nailed it with smoke and mirrors. Floyd is like a magician in the way that magicians try fooling you with misdirection. Like you have to guess where they hide the ball under 3 cups and they make money from making you guess wrong.

At first seeing the Pac v Floyd fight live, many people thought Floyd won. But having the chance to see slo motion replay, they realized they were actually conned by Floyd and punches they thought Floyd landed didn't actually land. But not that anyone thought Floyds punches landed with any authority at any point, be it watching it live or in your front room or on replays on youtube the next day, yesterday or tomorrow.

SRL win over Hagler was about as impressive as Floyd's win over PAC. SRL made Hagler wait until he got old, demanded a bigger ring and refused a 15 round fight. SRL ran all night long and only threw punches the last 15 seconds of each round.

Not too sure many would agree with you here. Floyd had 2.5 inches height wise on Pac. Pac was coming off of a ko by JMM. Hagler wasn't. Pac had a shoulder injury. Floyd had no combinations and no venom in the punches.
Even Floyd senior said Floyd was fighting scared. I could go on.

Punching is also a part of the sport, more important than running or hugging. Just ask DLH how his running match vs trinidad fared out...floyd had those judges on lockdown
